07:45 UPDATE: William Saliba meeting

Tottenham chiefs will meet with Saint-Etienne today to thrash out terms over a deal for centre-back William Saliba, RMC Sport claim.

It appeared that the 18-year-old was set to join the Gunners after a €30million (£27m) move had been agreed.

But yesterday morning it emerged that Spurs are looking to hijack their north London rivals’ agreement for the highly-rated young centre-half.

RMC Sport claim Spurs submitted an offer worth more than €30m with bonuses included and say that while Arsenal agreed an initial fee, the two clubs had not settled on the amount of the add-ons.

It is said that Spurs and Saint-Etienne will meet today to conclude negotiations and that if Arsenal do not move rapidly, they will miss out on the player.

07:30 UPDATE: Paul Pogba valuation

Manchester United have slapped an astronomical price-tag on midfielder Paul Pogba.

The French international has been heavily backed to leave Old Trafford this summer with Real Madrid and Juventus the most likely destinations.

But both could have trouble meeting United’s demands.

The Mirror claim Ed Woodward and Co. are playing hardball after Mino Raiola’s recent comments and have valued Pogba at £180million.

07:15 UPDATE: Arsenal shock target

Arsenal are looking to sign TWO defenders after Laurent Koscielny refused to join their pre-season tour.

The first, according to football.london, is Stevenage defender Luther James-Wildin, who is valued at £1million and can also be deployed at left-back or in midfield.

The Daily Mail claim Unai Emery has also reignited his interest in Benfica defender Ruben Dias.

But the Portugal international’s £54million release clause could potentially wipe out Arsenal’s entire transfer budget.

07:00 UPDATE: Nicolas Pepe to Liverpool

Nicolas Pepe looks destined to leave Lille this summer with his agent confirming discussions have been had over his future.

Liverpool, Everton and Paris Saint-Germain have been linked with Pepe, who scored 22 Ligue 1 goals last season.

And his agent Samir Khiat has hinted that a move to PSG could be next on the cards.

“Nicolas is open to everything,” Khiat said. “The aim is for him to sign in the right place. PSG is a possibility.

“I cannot say on the 12th July that he will sign for PSG. Today, all parties need to reach an agreement.”
